第2季QAF——难以忍受的糟糕中文字幕！（熊影村压制组）

其实我一直都很不愿意说这个
不知道有没人抱怨过
也不知道在这里说对不对（新人，请原谅）
但我实在看得很窝火

我是最近喜欢看QAF的
算是新fan了
第一季翻译得很不错，很准确到位
可是第2季看下来（熊影村压制组的）
看QAF的心情完全被打乱了
其中有很多集的翻译都很糟糕
不知道是哪个论坛提供的字幕
不过比起第一季来，这个实在是差太远了！

我不怪翻译的人没看过QAF
不知道上下文联系或者是俗语的翻译
（例如Debbie 称呼Justin “sun shine”，居然翻译成了“孙塞”？算了，这只是可笑罢了）
可是我严重怀疑这些朋友连英文也不会！
Brian去white party前在家里挑选衣服时说了句：“So long, Pittsburgh ”
根据上下文联系，连小学生都知道是“再见”的意思
字幕却翻译成“太长”？！
（还有很多例子，不愿找了，那些次品都让我直接扔到回收站里）
Ridiculous!!!!Did he just mean to fool the audience?
I am really irritated!!!

整集看下来
翻译的即不准确也不到位
E-C翻译讲求的是“信，雅，达”
连“信”的要求都达不到
我可真不指望什么了
打算直接看第三季好了

我不知道这样算不算挑剔
或许自己是英语专业，所以很难忍受这种践踏英语的行为
（对不起，我知道做字幕是比较辛苦，可是若是做不来就不要勉强自己，
既不尊重自己，也是在愚弄别人）

其实我也只是发牢骚而已
不愿意看到自己喜欢的drama被外行人翻译的如此不堪！

再见513，三处台词的官方字幕确认

  加东时间晚上11点08分，showcase电视台播出的QAF最后一集落下帷幕，就此QAF时代在加拿大荧屏上正式结束五年的历程。no saying goodbye,no anymore shows,no weeping no embrace……

Justin说he should just pack his  bags and grab the next Grey Hound.,而我的灰狗车票就躺在红色的钱包里，虽然明早要赶6点钟的BUS去downtown奔赴我的旅程，但仍然睡意全无，我不想就这样平静的跟queer as folk说再见。

不知道要做点什么，但是总得做点什么，那么好吧，就用我的烂笔头记下几个大家一直争论不休的台词问题，我们几乎都是从网络上下载的第五季，当然也包括513，可是这个版本的音效却不是很清楚，一些细节即使将音量扭到最大也无法非常清晰的听到。幸运的是，我的二手电视虽然比较破烂但是还带着字幕功能，于是记录下来几个地方，跟大家分享：

1、到底BRIAN如何回答JUSTIN关于是否两人分离后探望彼此的问题。
Brian: When is your flight?
Justin: 10..
I think I've finally found a place to stay. Daphne has a friend in the East Village 。Finding a work space is gonna be difficult. Apparently everything costs a fortune.

Brian: Well, you'll manage. You always do.

Justin: I'll be back and you will come there. We are gonna see each other all the time.

Brian: You don't know that. Neither do I. Whether we see each other next weekend, or next month...(inhale)...never again. Doesn't matter. It's only time.

写到这里，再度感叹TONI的听力水准，基本跟字幕没什么两样，功力可穿山越海了，只是这句话，有一点出入，大家请见粉红色部分。

2、BRIAN对GUS说的最后一句话。

goodbye son ,you be good..

不是goodbye sonnyboy,也不是大家传来传去的goodbye cowboy ,take care. Brian最后的告别第一次没有任何的调侃，而是以一个父亲的口吻，非常庄重的与gus道别，我想这句台词也许非常能诠释他最后的心情和逐渐的转变后的Brian。

3、Brian和LINZ的最后对话中提及的Justin.

linz: you'll be alright?
Brian: without you crazy lesbians?
linz:I meant justin
Brian: he's a selfish prick.. ，thinks of only himself.
linz: you taught him well.

转向linz，除了michael，LINZ应该是Brian最好的朋友，之间熟悉得可以只是眼神就体会彼此的心意。女人的心思本来就细密，何去何从，该如何去做，她毫无疑问觉察到Brian和justin的感情和未来发生的变化；他们之间用那么亲昵的密语说着彼此都爱的人，那个该死的忘恩负义的小坏蛋，嗯，祝愿他一路走好，也祝愿她生命中最爱的男人，GUS的爸爸，爱得依然优秀而明朗。

  除此之外，513是我很喜欢的kelly执导的，这个追求完美的女人，让每个小细节，让这个结局尽量不留任何遗憾。我很喜欢TED在蜡烛生日蛋糕的熊熊火焰前说的话，“even if that special person never gets a long. I'll be just fine." 也许人生就是如此，当你每次祈祷，每次祈祷，祈祷一千次仍然迎接失望的时候，在放弃那一刻，反而梦想会主动来叩门。

Brian再次用popper来迷幻自己，在这个michael口中“no ending, is begging”的末尾，看着他独舞在一个人的舞台，闭着双眼，双手在空气中舞动，突然觉得很绝望，哀莫大于心死，我不知道他，那一刻，我真的很悲哀。

我可是很辛苦打的，找英文，中文翻译，再查字典
我的英语很烂，但由于喜欢QAF，所以还是原版的更能很好的了解剧情
尽我的一点力，帮其他跟我一样英语烂的人更好的了解剧情
翻译的辛苦，我很肯定，只是把我发觉的错误和大家讨论一下

斑竹如果通过的话，觉得我的翻译的确无误，就请代我把贴发在字幕区，

我经常去那里看纠正的字幕，有的找的到，像这集就根本没贴，还有很多，如果斑竹同意，
等我第3次复习，ps 完全裸看的时候，相信发现的问题会更多，我很愿意做字幕区的候补发贴员

还发现好几次，翻译把 too和 to给搞混了，意思就完全不一样了

比如Brian把抚养权委托书给Linsay和Mel的时候，她们互相承认是自己的错
Linsay最后说了句 so did I
论坛翻译成了，我太...
应该是：我也是

还有钱包找到后，TED在酒吧遇见Blake，说到最后Blake问一只手一只脚也愿意？
Ted说that too。
但很明显翻译以为是that to
翻译成了那太，

自从看了预告片那个拥抱之后我一直对507有强烈的好奇心，现在我终于自食恶果了，这个剧情介绍太可怕了（如果不小心进来心脏脆弱的亲请别往下看吧泪）
第二页有BM fight scene 更新应该是J走了后跟B的第一次见面我觉得比这幕更痛苦亲们如果看的话自备手帕
英文不太好的亲们注意了第三页有lovehydeken不辞劳苦的翻译实在太感谢了后面几页可能还会有翻译矫正和讨论 enjoy!!

I've been fortunate enough to be able to view the 507 break up scene.

Here is a recap, and unfortunately I am unable to post the clip to
the file.

Let me just say, Gale and Randy's performances in this scene are Emmy
worthy.

Scene begins with a close up of the big window in Brian's loft. It is
dark out, probably the early hours of the morning. You can see the
some of the buildings lit in the distance

There is a brief snippit of music. Whether it has lapped over from
the previous scene or not... can't tell, because I have seen on only
this particular segment....not the scene before or the one after.

The music swells a bit then fades. It does not sound like background
music but rather like it was coming from a radio or TV.

It is definitely the last few bars of a John Williams movie theme. At
first I thought it was Star Wars, but in reflecting, I am pretty sure
it is from the main theme of the original Superman movie.

Camera scans past the window and then.....

Close up of Justin lying back in the big white sectional couch. He
has his hands folded on his stomach with a faraway and contemplative
look on his face.

We see his head, shoulders and part of his torso. His head is
resting in the couch pillow and his shoulders and torso are flat in
the couch. He is nervously interlocking and releasing his fingers

Cut to loft door sliding open

Brian enters, looks at Justin and proceeds to the kitchen

Camera shot of Justin. He is lying completely horizontal. Upper body
flat on the cushion of the couch his legs a stretched out and feet on
the coffee table. While his body is perfectly still but he is
fidgeting his still clasped fingers.

Shot back to Brian headed the refrigerator, he glances and smiles
again at Justin

Close up of Justin. Slight flicker of a smile of greeting. He is
starting to crack his knuckles

He looks at Brian and suddenly the shot of Brian goes black and
white. Then he is wearing a tee-shirt instead of the dark silky
button shirt he was wearing at the beginning of the scene. Then he
pulls his tee shirt off and is shirtless with the open water bottle
in his hand . Then he is pouring the water over his head and bare
chest. Close up of Brian's face shaking his head and shaking off the
water. This is actually Justin visualizing that scene from 501 when
Brian brought him to the loft.

Back to color and the present. Brian is dressed as he was at the
beginning of the scene. He finally speaks. He is just opening the
bottle now.

B: The club was packed tonight

J: (slight monotone, as he sits up and stifles a slight yawn): mmmmm.
That's nice. (he stretches his arms in front of him)

B: Line was all the way around the block

J: (sitting up now. Takes a quick breath) Great

B: Hardly any room on the dance floor

J:. Whatever happens, by all means, keep on dancing. (a tinge of
sarcasm? Just a tinge. Mostly there is weariness to his voice)

B: (Looks at him as he fiddles with the cap on the bottle. Slightly
flip tone. Not unkind, though) What about you, dear? How was your
evening? (he gives Justin a little smile. Almost the smile of a
little kid)

J. (stands) Not *nearly* as exciting as yours (again, weary monotone,
until this next part, which is said more evenly and firmly but still
in a quiet tone). I spent it here...alone...thinking. (he approaches
Brian who is standing behind the counter.Flicker of a smile from
Justin) And don't say `always a dangerous sign'."

Brian runs his index finger and thumb across his pursed lips,
miming: "My lips are sealed."

Justin leans his back against one of the steel columns. They are
about a foot apart. The tone of the conversation is quiet, straight
forward, but not hostile

J: I made some decisions

B: (unpurses his lips) `bout what

J: My life

B: Ah!

J What I want

B: (he approaches J and is right next to him) I thought you had that
all worked out. You're going to live of your conSID-er-able
Hollywood wealth and try your hand at being an artist. (flicker of a
smile. He's trying to make a joke. He knows something is coming)

J: (very serious now and a tad irritated) Why are you making fun of
me?

B: (a bit taken aback) I'M not making fun.

(Justin looks at him with a slight raising of eyebrows. The message
is: "then what DO you mean?")

B: You're making me f**king nervous as hell (and his nervousness is
evident in his voice and face) (a loud out-take of breath is heard
from Justin) Just tell me what you want, what you decided..and we can
go to bed..and f**k.

J: (slight laugh and smile and shaking of his head). You already know
what I want. I already told you.

B: (His facial expression: `so THIS is what it's all about'. He
starts to turn away. Then he laughs) That's right. A husband (lapses
into Brianesque sarcastic tone) A family. A home (he draws this word
out: Whooome). EV-er-ything that makes life worth living.

J (not loud, but forceful) Would you F**King cut it out? (quietly)
Just *stop* it. (When he says "stop" you can hear what sounds like
him slapping the counter with the palm of his hand)

B is surprised by the strength of Justin's words and tone. He says
nothing.

J (sighs) And I KNOW you can't give me those things

B: "Not can't. `Can't' denotes that I'm incapable. It's that I won't.

J:I accept that. I suppose that is one of the the reasons I've always
loved you.

Brian (turns away) Oh. The un-tame-able beast.

J: (very reasonably, resolutely and calmly) But to be a couple both
people need to want the same things. Move in the same direction. But
if they can't... or ..won't (a bit of emotion creeps into his voice
for a second ) they really have no other place to go.

B: (Stares at him a minute. Blinks) Probably not.

J: Then why are we still doing this if we know it's never going to
work?

Closeup on Brian. He says nothing for about 5 seconds then for softly
says:

B: Damned if I know

J stares at him for another few seconds then turns and walks out of
the frame. Cut to Brian who takes a drink of water. He watches J as
he walks over toward the bedroom and picks up his leather jacket
which is on the step or riser leading to the bed. He puts it on, then
reaches behind the partition and pulls out his big duffel bag which
is packed and hoists it over his shoulder..Then he picks up his back
back and heads towards the door

Close-up on Brian who now understands Justin is leaving.

Full-length long shot of the two of them standing in the middle of
the room with the door behind them

Justin drops the bags. Brian looks down at them for a few seconds

Justin then reaches up with one hand and places it on B's shoulder
and then puts his hand on Brian's neck and pulls himself toward
Brian, standing on his toes slightly. He then puts his other arm
around Brian and pulls him into a hug.

Brian stands there with both arms awkwardly at his side and then
embraces Justin

They hug tenderly

Individual over-the-shoulder shots of both their faces nuzzling on
each other's necks.

B: Where will you go?

J: I'll think of something

They release each other and J moves to the door

Close up of Brian. He is clenching his jaw. Sadness but also
reflection, contemplation in his eyes. He is thinking, taking it all
in

He turns toward the door.

B: Let me know.

J is in the door way and he stares at Brian sadly and pulls the door
shut

close-up on Brian. He turns from the door and stares away

: Brian: (VERY serious now and in Ben's face. Combination shout and

: Cut to Brian's face. He is silent, but he has a slight mocking smile
: forming on his face.
: Cut back to Michael
  鏡頭切到Brian的臉，他安靜下來，但臉上仍帶著偽裝的微笑，鏡頭切回Michael

: Michael: Who WOULDN'T?
  Michael:有誰不是?
      (p.s 這句話意思很深，其他Michael也是因為Brian而離開，
            Brian同時失去兩個最愛的人，在這一刻)

: Cut back to Brian. Silent. Not smiling anymore. In fact he is
: stunned. He just stares. His mouth is slightly open and he remains
: silent. Is he shocked by what Michael said it or that is it MICHAEL
: who said it?

鏡頭切到Brian，一陣安靜，他不再微笑，他整個人愣住，一動也不動，
他的嘴角輕微張開，但仍是一片安靜，似乎是被Michael話中的意思震住

Michael走上樓，突然鏡頭很快的切到樓梯盡頭扶手處一張平靜的臉，
Justin站在那，看起來是那麼的傷悲，那麼的筋疲力盡、那樣的沮喪。
接著轉身走出鏡頭外。

: B: (unpurses his lips) `bout what

: B: (he approaches J and is right next to him) I thought you had that
: all worked out. You're going to live of your conSID-er-able
: Hollywood wealth and try your hand at being an artist. (flicker of a
: smile. He's trying to make a joke. He knows something is coming)
  B:(靠向J並站在J旁邊)我以為你已經得到所有你想要的了，豐富的好萊塢經驗，
而且往成為藝術家前進(Brian微笑著，他試圖使氣氛輕鬆，因為他察覺到了一些
奇怪的感覺)

: J: (very serious now and a tad irritated) Why are you making fun of
: me?

: B: (a bit taken aback) I'M not making fun.

: (Justin looks at him with a slight raising of eyebrows. The message
: is: "then what DO you mean?")

: B: You're making me f**king nervous as hell (and his nervousness is
: evident in his voice and face) (a loud out-take of breath is heard

: J: (slight laugh and smile and shaking of his head). You already know
: what I want. I already told you.
  J:(輕聲的笑出來且帶點笑的搖了搖頭)
你早就知道我要的是什麼，我早就告訴過你

: B: (His facial expression: `so THIS is what it's all about'. He
: starts to turn away. Then he laughs) That's right. A husband (lapses
: into Brianesque sarcastic tone) A family. A home (he draws this word
: out: Whooome). EV-er-ything that makes life worth living.
  B:(Brian的臉上顯示出：又是為了「這個」，然後轉身並笑出來)

是，我知道，你要一個老公、一個家庭、一個家(Brian把尾音拉長，有諷刺的感覺)
好像有了這些人生才值得

: J (not loud, but forceful) Would you F**King cut it out? (quietly)
: Just *stop* it. (When he says "stop" you can hear what sounds like
: him slapping the counter with the palm of his hand)
  J:(不大聲但很有力道的說)該死的你可以不要再提這些繆論了，停止這些
(一邊說一邊把手重重的往旁揮)

: B is surprised by the strength of Justin's words and tone. He says
: nothing.
  Brian對Justin說話的語調和字眼感到訝異，他沒再說什麼。

: J (sighs) And I KNOW you can't give me those things
  J:(嘆了口氣)我知道你不能給我這些

: B: "Not can't. `Can't' denotes that I'm incapable. It's that I won't.

: J:I accept that. I suppose that is one of the the reasons I've always
: loved you.

: Brian (turns away) Oh. The un-tame-able beast.

: J: (very reasonably, resolutely and calmly) But to be a couple both
: people need to want the same things. Move in the same direction. But
: if they can't... or ..won't (a bit of emotion creeps into his voice
: for a second ) they really have no other place to go.

: B: (Stares at him a minute. Blinks) Probably not.

: J: Then why are we still doing this if we know it's never going to
: work?

: Closeup on Brian. He says nothing for about 5 seconds then for softly
: says:
: B: Damned if I know

: J stares at him for another few seconds then turns and walks out of
: the frame. Cut to Brian who takes a drink of water. He watches J as
: he walks over toward the bedroom and picks up his leather jacket
: which is on the step or riser leading to the bed. He puts it on, then
: reaches behind the partition and pulls out his big duffel bag which
: is packed and hoists it over his shoulder..Then he picks up his back
: back and heads towards the door
  總之這段就是Justin開始收行李

  Close-up on Brian who now understands Justin is leaving.
  Brian了解到Justin打算要離開了(天啊天啊你就這樣讓他走沒骨氣的男人>_<)

: Full-length long shot of the two of them standing in the middle of
: the room with the door behind them

: Justin drops the bags. Brian looks down at them for a few seconds
: Justin then reaches up with one hand and places it on B's shoulder
: and then puts his hand on Brian's neck and pulls himself toward
: Brian, standing on his toes slightly. He then puts his other arm
: around Brian and pulls him into a hug.
: Brian stands there with both arms awkwardly at his side and then
: embraces Justin
: They hug tenderly
: Individual over-the-shoulder shots of both their faces nuzzling on
: each other's necks.

: Close up of Brian. He is clenching his jaw. Sadness but also
: reflection, contemplation in his eyes. He is thinking, taking it all

: He turns toward the door.
